Barnksforte Technologies
A brand refresh for the company building Africa’s trusted digital identity infrastructure.

The challenge
The work had grown into national identity infrastructure. The identity had not grown with it.
The insight
For an identity company, trust is the product. The mark has to look like something you would build a nation’s records on.
The outcome
A refreshed identity built to stand beside national institutions across Africa.

What stood in the way
Barnksforte connects data, people and governments to build a unified, trusted digital identity ecosystem. When your clients are institutions, how you look is part of the security case.
The old BT emblem and wordmark belonged to an earlier stage of the company. The refresh had to carry its purpose, its personality and its values into every screen, document and room it enters.

B and T, joined into a shield.
The negative space forms the T for technology. The B stands for Barnksforte: bold, strong and forward-thinking. The shield carries security, trust and the foundational role the company plays in national identity infrastructure.
